Flashcards — two for every word, Beginners and Advanced: the picture, the English, and the Hebrew in print, with vowel marks, and in cursive. Beginners adds the transliteration.
Image cards and word cards — the picture on one card, the Hebrew on another, for matching, memory, and the other games in the Companion Guide.
Word Search — three levels, two grid sizes.
Matching Worksheet and Circle the Picture — quick recognition checks.
Lotto — boards and calling cards for a group game.
Spelling and Cursive Practice — writing each word, in print and in cursive.
Coloring Pages — scenes from each topic, for the youngest.
Candles Sheet (Hanukkah) — a paper hanukkiah that grows one candle a night.
Topic Guide, Word Reference and A Closer Look — how to use each topic, every word with transliteration and grammar, and a short reading on the customs behind the words.
Certificates — one per topic and one for the kit, in Classic and Kids designs.
Companion Guide — how the files are organized, how to print, how to start.
Most worksheets come in six shuffled versions, with answer keys at the end of each file.
The kit follows the Jewish calendar rather than a syllabus. One topic per holiday — open it two weeks before the day, print the cards, and the vocabulary of Rosh Hashanah, or Hanukkah, or Pesach is on the table when the holiday is.
Same words at both levels; the level is scaffolding, not content. The transliteration is spelled the way Israelis actually say the word, and it sits at the bottom of the Beginners card, so a thumb turns it into an Advanced card. Every vowel mark was verified individually.
A family that wants Hebrew in the home and not only at Hebrew school. A Hebrew school, Jewish day school, Sunday school, or homeschool classroom — one kit runs a classroom of twenty with laminated cards and per-child worksheets. A family preparing for aliyah. A learner of any age who wants the Hebrew words of the Jewish year, not a phrasebook.
Right after payment you receive an email with your download links — one for A4 paper and one for US Letter (US & Canada); the content is identical. The kit is large: about 4,000 files per paper size, roughly 8 GB, so please download on a computer, not a phone. The links keep working: if a download stops, just click again. No account or sign-in is needed.
Single-card PDFs, sheet layouts with cut lines, bleed files with crop marks, and full-resolution JPGs at 300 dpi. The Companion Guide walks you through printing your first topic step by step.
Your purchase covers one household and one classroom taught by you: unlimited printing for them, laminating, showing the cards on a screen or projector, and adapting them for your own use. Files may not be shared outside that household or classroom. Full details in the Terms. Schools and synagogues with several teachers: write to hebrewvibes@gmail.com.
This is a digital download. All sales are final once the download has started, except where the law requires otherwise. Trouble downloading? Write to me and I will get the files to you. See the Refund Policy.
Hebrew is my first language, and every card in this kit was made with the care I would want for my own family. — Amos Cohen, HebrewVibes
